Pamhidzai Makama, FCCA, MBA, RPAcc
As a business professional, my work experience spans more than twenty years covering both public, private and nonprofit accounting. I've had the privilege to obtain rich and varied experience by servicing companies ranging from small and medium enterprises, educational institutions, the retail sector (pharmaceutical), the hotel industry, and international NGOs. I enjoy the detailed work of accounting along with the mentoring aspect. As a self-proclaimed numbers nerd, I found that I wanted to share my skills and expertise to support and guide others in their businesses.
In 2021 I decided to take on a new adventure by starting my own accounting and business consultancy. I work with a variety of small and medium enterprises. I understand that owning a business is a journey and one of the biggest lessons we must learn along the way is to ask for help when we need it, especially when we recognise that there are just some areas where we could use additional assistance and expertise.
Success in today's business climate requires positive qualities, some of which are perseverance, partnership, leadership, responsibility, courage, and creativity. Generally, no one person carries in him/her all these qualities. As a result, we require allegiance and support from family, staff, peers, and business partners. Through sharing my passion and experience in accounting, it is my goal to help you stay on course as you navigate your business.
When I'm not crunching numbers, I spend my free time enjoying reading, exercising, and arts and crafts. I love to knit and crochet the most difficult table and chair spreads and doilies whenever I can!
